YOUNGSTOWN
Although Debra R. Kettering lives in Greenville, Pa., she became a millionaire when she crossed the state line to play an Ohio Lottery game. Kettering won a million dollars in the Ohio Lottery’s instant game $200 Million Extreme Cash.
Filing a claim in the Youngstown Regional office Wednesday, Kettering chose the cash option. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, Kettering will receive a lump-sum payment of $355,000. Her other pre-tax option was $50,000 a year for 20 years.
Kettering purchased her million-dollar winning ticket from Village Party Center, 1800 state Route 7 NE, Brookfield. The store will receive a $10,000 agent bonus for selling a top-prize winning ticket.
