Campbell Schools Superintendent Tom Robey retiring in 2013

CAMPBELL — Schools Superintendent Tom Robey told the board of education he will retire next year.

Robey said at the board’s meeting tonight he will retire no later than Dec. 31, 2013. He said he is announcing it now because he wants to give the board time to search for a new superintendent and to do a transition with him.

The board unanimously accepted his letter of resignation for retirement.

Robey has been Campbell’s superintendent for eight years.
