Community forests workshop scheduled

The Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp. is hosting a “Pruning and Managing Community Forests” workshop, as part of their Vacant Land Reuse Workshop series, from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The workshop, located on Mineral Springs Ave., is free and open to the public. The seminar will explain tree maintenance including watering, pruning, and preventing and identifying disease.
