SHARON, Pa.
The Zombies Attack! Crawl & Sprawl bar crawl in downtown Sharon will be Friday.
Participants in the Halloween event, sponsored by Sharon Arts & Music Initiative, can dress as zombies and visit several bars and eateries — including The ACT, Our Gang’s Lounge, Side Pocket Cafe, Quaker Steak & Lube, The Other Side and The Marigold — for drink and food specials.
Registration is required and will begin at 4 p.m. at Quaker Steak & Lube’s Handlebar Room. The first 300 people to register will receive an “I Was Attacked by Zombies in Sharon, Pa.” T-Shirt.
At 9 p.m., “zombies” will gather in front of Ghoul Mansion, 66 N. Main St., for a re-enactment of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance with fog machines and a professional sound system. Those who want to participate can register at Ghoul Mansion the night of the event. Each registrant will receive a ticket to the haunted attraction.
Organizers are hoping for a crowd that will earn it entry into Guinness World Records.
To wrap up the night, zombie crawlers will head to Tully’s in the Quaker Steak complex for a Midnight Munchies Buffet with DJ Syd. Cash and prizes will be given to the best and worst zombies.
