Mahoning County Dem women have GOTV event Weds.

YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County Democratic women officeholders will have an early- voting event to highlight local support of President Barack Obama and all he has done to support women during his first term as president.

The event , called No Vote Left Behind, will take place at the Mahoning County Board of Elections, located at Oakhill Renaissance Place, 345 Oak Hill Ave., Entrance A, at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Vicki Kennedy, wife of the late U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy and national Obama campaign surrogate, will be speaking. After the speeches by Kennedy and the women officeholders, those in attendance will cast their ballots as part of the county Democratic Party’s efforts to increase early voting.
