Sobriety checkpoint planned for today
CANFIELD
The Mahoning County Operating a Vehicle Impaired Task Force announced that a sobriety checkpoint will be held in Mahoning County today.
The exact location has yet to be disclosed.
“If motorists make poor decisions and choose to drink and drive, they will be arrested. We want to encourage those who will consuming alcohol to plan for a designated driver or to make other arrangements to get home safely,” said assistant Chief Scott Weamer of Canfield police in a news release.
