Jaclyn M. Serich of Niles and Thomas L. Williams of Girard exchanged marriage vows before the Rev. Michael Swierz during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Sept. 8 in St. Columba Cathedral.

A reception to honor the couple was at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.

Parents of the bride are John and Cynthia Serich of Poland. Cheryl Williams of Girard is the mother of the groom. His father, Mickey Williams, is deceased.

After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple reside in Niles.

The bride wore an ivory over the shoulder fit and flare gown with a dropped waist and skirt of hand-cut organza flanges adorned with a beaded silk belt.

Elizabeth Oles, cousin of the bride, and Carla Simeone, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Christina Oles and Cara Koshut, cousins of the bride; Emily Payich; and Christina Brown, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaids were Adriana Quattro and Anna Wiemels, bride’s cousins.

The attendants wore charcoal gowns with black-beaded belts.

Michael Williams, brother of the groom, and Aaron Baker, shared the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Nicholas Oles, cousin of the bride, and Daniel O’Neill, Carmen DeChristofaro and Michael Grumley.

The couple graduated from Youngstown State University.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care and is a sleep technician at St. Joseph Diagnostic Sleep Lab, Warren.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and is a police officer at YSU.
