CRAFT SHOWS

A.R.T.S. Club is having a holiday craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1 at Mohawk High School, 385 Mohawk School Road, Bessemer, Pa. Vendors are needed. Each will receive an 8-foot table and chair for $50. Student clubs and vendors will sell their handmade items, gifts, decorations, stocking stuffers and baked goods. First Baptist Church of Howland, 8957 E. Market St., Warren, is accepting vendor applications for its Crafter’s Market planned for Dec. 8. Contact Michelle Walker at michellewalker3712@gmail.com or at 330-883-0126 for an application or details.

Small Town Christmas will sponsor selected crafters at eight shops in the North Georgetown area from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Each shop will sell ornaments, and proceeds will be given to local schools to aid families in need. Santa will visit with stockings for children from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Susie’s Gifts and Things, 24656 Georgetown Road, Homeworth. Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 27485 Main St., and from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at First Brethren Church, 27333 Main St., both in North Georgetown. Pick up maps at The Old Stage Coach Inn Restaurant, 27425 Georgetown Road, North Georgetown, or at any of the shops.

South Range PTO’s third annual craft show will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16, 2013. Vendors are wanted. Each space is $30; the deadline is March 1. For information call 330-533-6509 or email kmckee@southrange.org.

Sugarcreek Festival of Arts and Crafts will be at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Rocky Grove Fire Station, 29 Shuffstall St., Rocky Grove, Pa. Over 60 crafters will sell jewelry, hand-painted ornaments, leather items, wreaths, table runners, candles, sports plaques, floral arrangements, ceramics, pens, crochet and knit items, and porcelain. Santa Claus will visit from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. Rocky Grove Ladies Auxiliary will serve soup and sandwiches, with soup for sale by the quart. Take a container if ordering soup to go. Ursuline Preschool and Kindergarten will present its 24th Annual Once Upon a Christmas Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Ursuline Center, 4300 Shields Road, Canfield. Admission is free, and parking is available. There will be over 100 vendors with holiday crafts and gift items, homemade holiday baked goods and candy. There also will be raffles, including the Family Treasure Chest filled with items for the whole family, the Hi-Tech Raffle with the season’s hottest electronic gadgets, a 50-50 raffle and themed basket raffles. Tickets are available at the school or the day of the show. Winners will be drawn at the conclusion. Snacks will be offered beginning at 9 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Ursuline Preschool and Kindergarten. Lake Milton Presbyterian Church, 924 Grandview Road, is sponsoring a shoppers mart from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. New and like-new items will be for sale. Nothing will be over $5. SPECIAL EVENTS

Beatitude House will benefit from Christmas at the Lake, a fundraiser planned from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 2 at The Lake Club, 1140 Paulin Road, Poland. The family event includes brunch (featuring a kid-size buffet), activities and entertainment by local children’s group Hey Kids! Gifts will be available at auction and for purchase. Proceeds will benefit Beatitude House, which serves homeless women and children by providing homes, educational opportunities and other support. Sponsorships are available at various levels. TRIPS

Trumbull County Travel Club is sponsoring a trip Dec. 4 to historic Riverside Inn in Cambridge Springs, Pa. The motor coach will depart at 10 a.m. from K-Mart in Niles and at 10:15 from Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. Seats are $75 per person.
