Carrie Underwood sells out Covelli in 6 hours

YOUNGSTOWN

Carrie Underwood’s April 11 concert at the Covelli Centre is sold out. Tickets went on sale at 10 this morning and were gone by about 4 p.m., according to a press release from the downtown arena.

Some single-seat tickets are still available, however.

Covelli Centre holds about 6,300 people for concerts.

Underwood is touring to promote her new release, “Blown Away.” The country star last played Covelli Centre on March 12, 2010. That show sold out in 48 hours.

The fastest sell-out in Covelli history was Elton John’s May 1, 2010, concert, which sold 7,000 tickets in 30 minutes.
