InfoCision, an Akron-based call-center with offices in Boardman, Austintown and New Castle, Pa., announced its chief financial officer, Dave Hamrick, was recently honored as CFO of the Year by Crain’s Cleveland Business. Hamrick enhanced InfoCision’s accounting department and expanding financial reporting, among other accomplishments. Finalists for the award were judged by an independent panel.

First National Insurance Agency, subsidiary of the First National Bank of Pennsylvania, has announced the hiring of Michael C. Barbarita as managing director and chief operating officer. Barbarita will oversee the areas of marketing, risk management and bonds across the company’s three-state market. He is a graduate of Robert Morris University and lives in Upper St. Clair, Pa.
F.N.B. Wealth Management, a subsidiary of the First National Bank of Pennsylvania, has announced the hiring of Mark J. Wenick as vice president and financial adviser. Wenick will develop new personal and institutional investment management and employee benefit relationships in Youngstown and the surrounding region. Wenick has more than 30 years of experience. He is a graduate of both Columbia University and Duquesne University. He lives in Austintown.

Meridian Community Care’s WorkLife program has hired Anna Marie Masi as counselor. She will help provide employee assistance program services to local businesses. Masi is a Youngstown State University graduate. She has worked in several similar positions throughout the Mahoning Valley.
Nicholas M. Garritano, D.O., a board- certified obstetrician/gynecologist, has joined Salem Community Hospital’s medical staff and has opened an office in the Columbiana Medical Center at 750 E. Park Ave. in Columbiana. In this new location, he will provide gynecological care, such as routine exams and Pap smears, prenatal and obstetrical care, fertility evaluation and treatment, along with menopausal care and illness prevention and treatment.

Jason Hagerty of Boardman, an employee for Farmers Insurance Group, has completed the managers leadership development course at the University of Farmers. The course is designed to teach Farmers’ employees best practice methods surrounding leadership, business management and staffing.
