HANOVERTON
The 2012 Hanoverton Village Peddler’s Days will take place over the weekend of July 14 and July 15. Activities and displays will include a country store, tractor hayrides, tours of the historic town, square dancing, line dancing, a ghost walk and a dunking booth.
A Civil War encampment will feature demonstrations and displays with participants in period costume. There will be a Firemen’s Parade at 2 p.m. July 14, and an 1800s church service at 8 a.m. July 15 at the Hanoverton Christian Church on Historic Plymouth Street.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Hanoverton Fire Department, the Historical Society and local businesses. Sign up tables cost $25 per group for the weekend.
