Meet finalists for Mahoning library director Wednesday

YOUNGSTOWN
The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County will conduct a 6 p.m. Wednesday forum at the main library, 305 Wick Ave., to introduce to the public five finalist candidates to succeed the retiring Carlton Sears as director of the 16-branch system. Library trustees will have a special meeting at 3 p.m. Thursday at the main library to consider a recommendation from the search committee for the new director.
