Two nabbed in Niles on drug charges

Two men were arrested Saturday morning on drug charges.
Dan Cicero, 44, is charged with cultivating marijuana, three counts of aggravated drug trafficking, and one count of permitting drug abuse. Cicero’s trafficking charges were elevated because the alleged offenses occurred within 1,000 feet of Washington Elementary School.
Travis G. Davis was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested on an warrant for a probation violation through the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office on a former heroin charge, according to a Niles Police Department report. The arrests occurred at 995 Orchard Place in Niles.
The Weathersfield Township Police Department assisted with the drug investigation and execution of the search warrant.
Cicero and Davis are being held in the Trumbull County jail pending arraignment on Tuesday in Niles Municipal Court.
