Weapon found in car

Markus A. Dawson, 26, of Youngstown, was arrested at about 3 a.m. Wednesday near the area of Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, using weapons while intoxicated, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and driving under suspension.
Police noticed the car when it failed to signal to change lanes and make a left turn.
Officers found an unloaded gun in the car with a bullet on the vehicle’s floor, according to reports.
Dawson’s blood alcohol content was tested at 0.141 — higher than the legal limit of 0.08, police said.

AUSTINTOWN
A man and a woman were injured when their vehicle crashed into a utility pole just after 7 p.m. Wednesday along Mahoning Avenue near Wickliffe Circle, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Details about the crash and the extent of injuries were not available.
