Warren G. Harding Quiz Bowl team honored today in Columbus

COLUMBUS — Members of the Warren G. Harding High School quiz bowl team were honored today on the floor of the Ohio House.

The team won the 2012 state quiz bowl championship. Members stood on the floor while Rep. Tom Letson of Warren, D-64th, introduced them by name and described their accomplishments and their future educational plans. Team members are seniors Michael Coates, Korey Gall, Sam Earthy and Joseph Angelo.

The team will compete in a national quiz bowl competition in Atlanta this weekend. Coach Kim Hunter said about 240 schools will be participating.
