Turning gets patent for wireless system

Turning Technologies has announced it received a patent for a wireless communication system.

Patent number 8,150,380 was issued April 3. It is the fourth United States patent that protects the functionality of the ResponseCard RF devices and complementary receivers.

The patent technology provides the platform for many of Turning’s product advantages including communication speed, minimal battery usage with long battery life, as well as the ability to package devices as convenient, extremely durable and reliable ResponseCard keypads.

J.B. Hunt grows, will hire 22 drivers

J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. is hiring 22 drivers in Youngstown and surrounding areas. Spurred by a recent account acquisition, Northwest Arkansas-based J.B. Hunt is growing in Ohio.

The company is seeking 22 experienced truck drivers to fill local, yard driver and regional dedicated jobs.
