Pastor to be installed at Sunday ceremony

The Rev. Sue Francis, pastor of Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will be ordained and installed at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The Rev. Dr. Robert J. Campbell of the Church of the Covenant of Cleveland will preach.

The Rev. Mrs. Francis grew up in western Pennsylvania and was one of three daughters. She attended the Butler School of Nursing and graduated with the last graduating class in 1974.

In 1975, she married David W. Francis. They have five adult children and recently became first-time grandparents.

Mrs. Francis has a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University with a double major in religious studies and women’s studies, graduating in 2006.

In 2009, she graduated from Vanderbilt Divinity School with a master of divinity degree.

She has filled the pulpit of churches throughout Eastminster Presbytery. Mrs. Francis is now pastor of the Kinsman church, where she received her first call.

The church has Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and service at 10:45.
