Austintown: Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road, will host an event at 1 p.m. Saturday for toddlers through elementary ages. It will take place rain or shine.

Austintown: Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave. Meet the Easter Bunny and games and prizes. Families are invited to join for special activities from noon to 2 p.m. for $4.99 which includes one game of laser, one round of bumper cars, skating, skate rental and web city. 330-270-4386.

Boardman: Easter Egg and Goodie Bag Hunt on Saturday at Boardman Park. For children age 8 and under. Bring your baskets. Dress for the weather. 10 a.m. for age 2 and under at the bocce court; 10:15 a.m. age 3-4 at Master’s Pavilion; 10:30 a.m. ages 5-8 at the baseball field. Free admission.

Boardman: Dinner with the Easter Bunny, 5:30 p.m. April 4-5 at the Lariccia Family Community Center. Tickets may be purchased at the park office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets are $6 for Boardman residents and $7 for nonresidents. Under 18 months is free. Includes dinner, arts and crafts and family photo with the bunny.

Boardman: Christian Assembly, 5050 South Ave., will host a free event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 7. Children from 1 to 12 years old will be divided by age groups. Light refreshments, story time and prizes will be featured.

Boardman: Eggstraordinary Hunt set for 1 p.m. April 7 at Glenwood Christian Fellowship, 7872 Glenwood Ave., for children ages 1 through 12. Participants should be accompanied by an adult. There will be a scavenger hunt and all will receive candy-filled eggs.

Campbell: Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Community Center at Roosevelt Park sponsored by East Suburban Optimist Club of Youngstown. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance. For children age 2-10. Prizes awarded in three age brackets.

Canfield: Egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. Saturday on the green in front of Dairy Queen for newborns to 10 years old. Rain or shine.

New Middletown: Area children are invited to a Community Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday on the grounds behind Springfield Elementary School on Youngstown- Pittsburgh Road. There will be a grand prize basket and 75 other prizes. In case of bad weather, treat bags will be handed out in the school. Sponsored by the combined efforts of the local Safety Forces, New Middletown Village Council, Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and Springfield Township Trustees.

Youngstown: Holy Apostles Parish will sponsor a free Easter party from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Cardinal Mindszenty Hall, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave. There will be games, egg hunt and prizes, and the Easter Bunny will visit. The parish is the merger of Sts. Youngstown: The Wick Park Neighborhood Association, with the support of city council members Annie Gillam, D-1st, and Nate Pinkard, D-3rd, will host their third annual Wick Park Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Breakfast on Saturday. For children age 1 through 12, egg hunt registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Wick Pavilion with the hunt starting at noon. Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult or guardian. The breakfast will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a suggested donation of $5 and will include sausage, pancakes, and local maple syrup. There will be prizes, games, a coloring contest, crafts, and a scavenger hunt. The Easter Bunny will attend the event, which takes place rain or shine.

trumbull county

Brookfield: Easter egg hunt for township children at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brookfield Township Administration Building, 6844 Strimbu Drive, Brookfield. Children may have photos taken with “Thumper.”

Girard: Easter egg hunt, 3 p.m. April 7, Girard City Gym, for children 2 through 9 years who live in Girard.

Girard: Hope Baptist Church, 202 S Market St., will host an Easter egg hunt Saturday. There will be two hunts: 10 a.m. for age 2 to 4 and 10:30 a.m. for age 5 to 7.

Liberty: Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church, 2055 Pleasant Valley Road, will host a free community-wide Easter extravaganza from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be free food, music, balloons, inflatables, giveaways and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Warren: Annual Easter egg hunt from noon to 2 p.m. April 7, for age 2 through 13 at the Alliance Community Outreach Program Center, 2051 Niles Road SE. Sponsored by ACOP Center, Trumbull County Children Services and K9 Motorcycle Club.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

East Palestine: East Palestine Rotary Club will sponsor the annual pancake and sausage breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Easter egg hunt at East Palestine Park on Saturday. The breakfast will be at the community center at the park from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for all ages. The cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. There will be an auction of 22 items and a 50/50 raffle at the breakfast. Empty baskets will be available for purchase for the collection of candy at the egg hunt. Photos with the Easter bunny will be offered from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at a cost of $8 each for a 5-by-7-inch colored print matted. The egg hunt will follow at 11:30 a.m. and is divided into four age groups: preschool, kindergarten and first grade, second and third grade, and fourth and fifth grade. There will be more than 5,000 pieces of candy, toys, trinkets and gift certificates for the children. There also is a grand prize in each age group hidden in one of the plastic eggs.

Hermitage, Pa.: Free Easter egg hunt at noon Saturday at Buhl Farm Shelter 4 for children from 1 to 12 years old. The Easter Bunny will visit.
