A summary of criminal activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown Township:

CANFIELD

March 21

Drug abuse: Police charged Casey Stanford, 40, of 24 Brookline Ave., Youngstown, and David McCullough, 37, of 3132 Ohio Ave., Youngstown, with drug abuse of marijuana after their arrest in the city.

Theft: Police charged Diana Brennan, 20, of 5771 Rosewood Drive, Boardman, with theft at the BP Gas Station, 599 E. Main St. Stolen were a cellphone and $55.15 from a vehicle.

March 22

Fighting: Two 16-year-old students were arrested for disorderly conduct for fighting at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

March 23

Drug abuse: Two 17-year-old Canfield males were arrested for drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession and consumption of alcohol.

March 24

Drug abuse: Bradley Thomas, 19, of 22657 Railroad St., Alliance, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana and Aleisha Safkow, 18, of 245 Shadyside, Alliance, was arrested on a charge of wrongful entrustment.

March 19

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 3000 block of White Beach Lane.

Criminal damaging: Truck bed covers and windows were damaged at Ohio Van and Truck, 3667 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Samantha Wayne, 26, of 944 Glenwood Ave., Warren, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

Theft: Several jewelry items were taken at a home in the 10 block of North Beverly Ave.

Menacing: Threats were made on Facebook at a home in the 2000 block of Woodridge Court.

Fraud: Transactions were made on a bank card at an apartment in the 400 block of Deer Creek Court.

Breaking and entering: A house and shed were entered at a home in the 6000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Burglary: Forced entry was reported into an attached garage at a home in the 4000 block of Wedgewood Drive.

Recovered property: A Glock Model 23 semiautomatic handgun was returned to the owner at Fab Limo, 3681 Connecticut Ave.

Aggravated menacing: There is a suspect in aggravated menacing at a home in the 4000 block of Timberbrook Drive.

March 20

Domestic violence: Cory Miller, 21, of Econo Lodge 5431 Seventy-Six Drive No. 42,was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Warrant: Renarda Wallace, 30, of 3141 Leo Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for menacing.

Theft: An iPhone was recovered after being stolen at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.

Counterfeit currency: A $20 bill was passed at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A gray Chevrolet Malibu was taken in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.

Assault: James Foster, 39, of 87 Poplar Ave., Niles was arrested on a charge of assault and warrants for drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments.

Drug offense: Michael Branch, 31, of 2602 Oakwood Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons for drug abuse of marijuana.

March 21

Attempted burglary: A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested for attempted burglary at a home in the 1000 block of Collins Avenue, and placed in the Juvenile Justice Center.

Theft: Nicole Pennington, 37, of 2810 Montgomery Ave., Warren was issued a summons charging theft of $24.34 in merchandise at Dots, 6000 Mahoning Ave. Destiny Willis-Mays, 30, of 3036 Red Fox Run Drive, Warren was arrested on a warrant for driving under suspension and failure to control.

Theft: Cash was stolen from a gym locker at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

March 22

Auto theft: A vehicle was stolen for a home in the 1000 block of County Line Road and later located in Niles.

Theft: $29 in gasoline was stolen at the BP station, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Menacing: Threats were made by juveniles on Facebook at a home in the 200 block of S. Yorkshire Blvd.

Assault: Brittany Ferguson, 20, of 1010 Compass West, No. 3 was arrested on a charge of assault at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

March 23

Theft: A woman was scammed out of $300 at an apartment in the 80 block of N. Raccoon Road.

Disorderly conduct: Michael Harris, 42,of 484 Southward Drive, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Recovered property: A laptop computer was recovered at Kirk Road and Darbyshire Court.

Attempted burglary: An attached garage was entered at a home in the 900 block of Kirwan Drive.

Burglary: There were no signs of forced entry, but a flat-screen television and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard.

Theft: Pills were taken from a home in the 3000 block of Ferdinand Road.

Criminal damaging: Scratches were made to a vehicle in the 1000 block of N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Douglas Reed, 31, of E. Quarry St., Newton Falls, was charged with theft of $35.80 in merchandise at Wal-mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

March 24

Breaking and entering: A rear glass door was broken out and a money bag was stolen at Arthur Treachers, 4451 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: The driver’s side window was broken out of an auto and the GPS was stolen at Fox Run apartments, 70 N. Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: Tools were taken from a garage at a home in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Avenue.

Theft: A seat was taken out of a new, 2012 semi- truck at Cerni Motors, 5751 Cerni Place.

Theft: A 13-year-old male juvenile was caught stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Jewelry and an extension cords were stolen at a home in the 6000 block of Ruby Court.

March 25

Domestic violence: Daniel Marino Jr. 23, of 2913 Bainbridge St., was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Criminal damaging: Eight sections of a fence were knocked down and a garage was spray painted on all sides at a home in the 90 block of Maple Avenue.

Inducing panic: A dresser was blown up with a quarter stick of dynamite or other explosive at a home in the 1000 block of Westminster Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A window was shattered on a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
