Family says search crews find body of Ark. boy, 4

HARDY, Ark. (AP) — The family of a 4-year-old boy who had been missing since he traveled with his aunt to a cleanup day at an Arkansas Boy Scout camp says search crews have found his body.

Caleb Linn went missing Saturday near the South Fork of the Spring River in the Ozark foothills of northern Arkansas. Searchers in boats and on horseback, foot and four-wheelers scoured the valley for days before his uncle Chris Bruner announced today that the body had been found in the river.

The South Fork was swollen after recent storms and authorities had feared the boy had somehow slipped into the water near the Kia Kima Scout Reservation.

Searchers used cadaver dogs in their search and also set up a net across the Spring River in an effort to find the boy.
