New Castle woman injured in accident today
NEW CASTLE, PA. — A New Castle, Pa., woman was injured this morning when the car she was driving southbound on New Galilee Road in Darlington Township ran off the road on a curve and hit a culvert and a tree. The crash occurred at 8:35 a.m. just south of Haney Road.
The driver, Wendy Fisher, 47, was taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle for treatment of minor injuries, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Fisher, who was wearing a seat belt, was cited for driving outside of her designated lane.
