VALLEY PROJECTS

Among projects included in Gov. John Kasich’s proposed capital budget for 2013-14:

$485,000 for a science lab expansion at Kent State University Salem Campus.

Nearly $9.4 million for 10 projects at Youngstown State University, plus $556,000 for improvements at the Job and Family Services office in Youngstown.

$855,000 for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at KSU Trumbull Campus.
