New traffic patterns

New traffic patterns

YOUNGSTOWN

These traffic patterns are in place on Interstate 680 at Midlothian Boulevard:

I-680 northbound and southbound over Midlothian Boulevard is reduced to two lanes in each direction.

The I-680 southbound exit ramps to Midlothian Boulevard will be closed through late September.

The Midlothian Boulevard ramp to I-680 northbound also will be closed through late September.

This work is the beginning of a $4.5 million project to provide concrete overlays to six bridges on I-680 between U.S. Route 224 and South Avenue. The entire project will be completed by October, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Free cones at DQ

BOARDMAN

For every free five-ounce cone served, customers will be invited to make a donation to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley, the local Children’s Miracle Network hospital. All money raised locally stays local to help children served by Akron Children’s Mahoning Valley programs and services.

All Mahoning and Trumbull county DQs are participating, as are several DQ locations in Columbiana and Mercer counties. Children’s Miracle Network is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals.
