The four people killed in a Saturday morning blaze at 941 Vine St. have been identified as Ulrick Estimot, 37, and his sons, Trey, 11, Terrell, 7, and Trenton, 5, a city fire official confirmed. The investigation is ongoing. The fire was reported shortly after midnight Saturday. The mother of two of the boys reported the fire as she was arriving home. The state fire marshal’s office is investigating.

No arrests have been made in a Saturday evening incident at a South Avenue grocery store. A store employee of Rulli Brothers pulled into the parking lot of the store and saw a masked man. The man approached the employee’s van, pulled out a handgun and warned the employee to stay in the vehicle. The employee complied, but the gunman fled on foot, police said. A police dog lost the suspect’s scent.

One person was transported by helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center on Sunday evening after a one-vehicle crash on River Road near Lally Pipe and Tube. Police Chief William Vance said that about 8 p.m., a vehicle was traveling east on River Road when the driver lost control. The car traveled off the right side of the road and flipped multiple times before coming to a stop.

Two people were in the car, and one of them was thrown from the vehicle. Vance said three of his officers and a bystander lifted the vehicle off one of the victims. Roads around the accident scene were closed for a short time while emergency crews tended to the victims. Police continue to investigate.
