Vigil today for 3 killed in Ohio wrong-way crash

Friday, March 16, 2012

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — It will be a somber evening at Bowling Green State University, where students will gather to remember the three sorority sisters killed in a wrong-way crash near the northwest Ohio campus.

The school will have a service and candlelight tonight called “A Celebration of Sisterhood.”

The three sorority members died two weeks ago when a wrong-way driver slammed head-on into their car as they were leaving for a spring break trip. The wrong-way driver also died, and two more sorority members were seriously hurt.

The two who were injured were released from the hospital this week.

The school has been inviting people to write messages on memory boards set up in the student union that will be displayed at the service.
