70-year-old pedestrian killed in West Farmington

WEST FARMINGTON

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a 70-year-old woman died Thursday after being struck by a truck while crossing the road.

The victim, Alma Miller, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an OSHP press release.

The accident occurred on state Route 88 near mile marker 2 while Miller walked north across the street, the OSHP said.

The driver, 69-year-old Robert Satterlee, was not injured, the release said.

The OSHP is still investigating.
