v Father’s Day Car Show, noon to 4 p.m.: Shenango Valley Region of the Antique Automovile Club of America sponsors its 30th annual event along East State Street in Hermitage, Pa. More than 750 vehicles are expected to enter 35 classes.

Main Street Theater will host the RATTS (Rockin’ Around The Town Square) for “red, white and blue” concerts at 8 p.m. June 22, 23, and 24. The RATTS band will give a new twist on historic and patriotic songs including “Yankee Doodle Dandy” and a medley of theme songs from branches of the U.S. military.

Christopher Lee Bayda is musical director. There are plans to honor local service men and women at each show and organizers hope to play a recorded video made by military personnel currently stationed in Afghanistan.

Wing cook-off

SHARON, PA.

Will Our Gang’s Lounge in Sharon reign for the fifth consecutive year or will a new Wing King be chosen? The annual Wing King Cook-Off is planned from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Tully’s Restaurant with more than 25 types of wings. The event is a benefit for United Way of Mercer County. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, with the first 500 attendees receiving a free Wing King T-shirt. Drink specials, a DJ and corn-hole competition will be featured.
