v Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Festival,1 to 10 p.m.: Final day of festival begins with the traditional procession following Mass. Church grounds are at 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown.

v Community concert bands, 2 p.m.: The Youngstown and Mercer community concert bands will team up for this free concert at the Maag Outdoor Theatre in Boardman Park.

v Mill Creek Metroparks Sunfest, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.: A sand sculpture contest at 1 p.m. highlights this annual event at the Wick Recreation Area, off McCollum Road on the West Side of Youngstown. Live music by Julius Veal, Savoy and Rainbow Tribe will be on stage at Morley Pavilion; 330-740-7107.

Jeremy Piven to star on ‘Masterpiece’

LOS ANGELES

Jeremy Piven, who played uber-Hollywood agent Ari Gold on the series “Entourage,” is moving uptown to PBS’ “Masterpiece.”

Piven will star in the drama series “Mr. Selfridge,” about the flamboyant American who founded the British department store Selfridges. “Mr. Selfridge” will air as part of WGBH Boston’s “Masterpiece” showcase in 2013.
