YOUNGSTOWN — Dooney’s Downtown Grille, the bar and restaurant filling the space at 50 E. Federal St. that was formerly Buffalo Wild Wings, will open its doors to the public at 5 p.m. today

Dooney’s will kick off its business by having a “Party on the Plaza,” said manager Nick Danyi.

A stage has been erected. Bands Silencer and Graphic Pink will go on stage at 7:30 p.m.

A full menu will not be offered until Saturday, but Danyi said the restaurant will have a variety of appetizers and pizza for customers to order.

Happy hour will also take place between 4 and 9 p.m., with $3 select drafts, $3 wines, $5 margaritas and $4 Long Island iced teas among the offerings.

“We’re hoping a lot of people will show up for the first night,” Danyi said.
