“Community Connection” (7 a.m., 21 WFMJ-TV): The United Way, Huntington Banks, Great Clips and WFMJ will conduct their annual Stuff the Bus campaign. Bob Hannon, Sandy Lisko and Lauren Ferry will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the campaign and how to donate items. Additionally they will discuss how parents can get free stuffed backpacks for their children.

Next, Joan Sulenksi of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, Kelly Weikart of the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center, and Vicki Thompson of the Trumbull Career and Technical Center will discuss the free educational opportunities available for adult education in our community.

Finally, Jim Echement, executive director of the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, will discuss Summer Relief Day, where local churches will take up extra collections to assist the Rescue Mission.

“Increase the Peace” (6:30 p.m. Saturday, MyYTV): Host Andrea Mahone’s guest will be Bishop C. Shawn Tyson and first lady Krist Tyson of Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church International Ministries.

“Sunday Morning with Dee” (8 a.m. Sunday, WKBN-TV 27): Host Dee Crawford’s guest will be Joseph Caruso, president and CEO of Compass Family and Community Services, and Lynn Bilal, program director. They will discuss the Rape and Crisis Counseling Center.

Rocker faces DUI

D’IBERVILLE, Miss.

3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell has been released on $1,000 bond after being arrested on a DUI-related charge after an accident in southern Mississippi.

Police Chief Wayne Payne said in a news release that 40-year-old Todd Harrell was pulled over after 7 a.m. Thursday in D’Iberville after failing to stop at an intersection and colliding with a pickup truck.
