Woman hurt in one-car crash in Austintown

Austintown

A woman is in the hospital after wrapping her car around a tree early this morning.

The accident occurred just before 7 a.m. on South Turner Road near Kirk Road, Austintown fire officials said.

Fire crews had to cut the woman, whose name and age were not released, out of her car. The car was on its roof, against a tree.

She was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Her condition is unknown but officials said she was conscious when the ambulance arrived.

Austintown police continue to investigate the crash.
