The engagement and upcoming marriage of Gina Dowell of Arlington, Va., and Brad Palmer of Falls Church, Va., is being announced by her parents.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Richard and Joyce Dowell of Boardman. Parents of the prospective groom are Clay and Denise Mingo of Hague, Va., and Stan Palmer of Brewster, N.Y.
The DeYor Center of Youngstown will be the site of the couple’s late afternoon wedding on May 5. A reception in their honor will immediately follow the ceremony at the same location. Invitations will be extended to both events.
Miss Dowell is a consultant at the Logistics Management Institute in McLean, Va., after earning an undergraduate degree from John Carroll University and a master’s degree in education from Ohio University.
Mr. Palmer graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree and holds a master’s degree in education from Clemson University. He is the chief operating officer for B3 Group Inc. in Falls Church.
