YOUNGSTOWN
Robert and Gloria Hodge of Youngstown gathered with their family Dec. 29 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their wedding. Invitations were extended for the family dinner, which took place at the Boardman Rotary Room inside the Lariccia Family Community Center in Boardman Park.
The Hodges’ children and their spouses hosted the celebration. Amy and Steve Savich, Bob and Keri Hodge, Jamie and Jody Hodge, Anthony Hodge and Matthew Hodge all reside in Youngstown. A daughter, Danielle Hodge, died in 2002.
The family includes six grandchildren.
Mrs. Hodge, the former Gloria Montmore, is a homemaker. Mr. Hodge retired in May 2002 from GM in Lordstown, where he was a coordinator. He also has owned RW Carpet Care since 1988. He served in the Air Force Reserve, 910 SOG/TFG, as a munitions technologist at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station.
The Hodges were married Dec. 29, 1971, at St. Brendan Church, where they are members.
