The Campbell police and fire departments’ phone lines have not been working tonight. Police Chief Gus Sarigianopoulos said the city is trying to resolve the problems, and he expected they would be resolved by 11 p.m.
911 calls are going through the county, he said, which then try to reach Campbell.
The county dispatch center said people in Campbell who need 911 should dial it as usual.
