Drennan to speak

Bruce Drennan from All Bets Are Off on Sports Time Ohio will be the guest speaker at the Curbstone Coaches Hall of Fame Banquet. The event will be held at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center on May 6 beginning at 6 p.m.

Change in venue

The Youngstown Phantoms have moved their April 6 game from the Covelli Centre to the Ice Zone on McClurg Road at 7:15 p.m. to accommodate the recent announcement of country duo Sugarland’s April 6 performance at the Covelli Centre.

All tickets previously purchased for April 6 at the Covelli Centre will be honored at the Ice Zone and additional tickets can be purchased at the Ice Zone ticket booth which is open daily 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Little Falcons host spaghetti dinner

The Austintown Little Falcons will host their fourth annual spaghetti dinner on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Austintown. The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for kids 5 and under. A Chinese auction will also take place.

Take out orders are welcome.

Golf event set for this summer

The annual Pink Ribbon Gold Classic will be held at Tippecanoe Country Club on July 16. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the American Cancer Society. The Pink Ribbon committee will also sponsor a bus trip this spring to a local casino. Watch for further details on both of these events.

Fitch accepts nominations for Hall of Fame Class

The Austintown Fitch High School Athletic Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the fifth Hall of Fame class. All nominations are due by March 30.
