YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown Northside Weed and Seed, and Heart Reach Ministries will have its fifth annual criminal-justice fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Heart Reach Ministries, 211 Redondo Road, the former St. Edward’s School.
The fair provides an opportunity for residents to meet with various criminal-justice officials such as law-enforcement officers, prosecutors, corrections officers and judicial officials.
Youngstown police officers will compete in a doughnut-eating contest at 2 p.m.
Youngstown State University serves as the Weed and Seed fiscal agent. YSU’s Center for Human Services Development wrote the grant.
The fair is open to all city residents.
