The Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet for a 6 p.m. Jan. 14 dinner meeting at Third Baptist Church, 1172 Park Hill Drive, Youngstown. Sarah Brown-Clark, Youngstown Municipal Clerk of Courts, will discuss “Old World Traditions: Lost and Retained-African.” The meal will be provided by Marthela Allen Catering. Gospel Choir, directed by Kris Harper, will perform with jazz pianist and vocalist Howard Howell. Membership fees, valid from Sept. 2012 to June 2013, are $25 per person; meetings cost $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Reservation deadline is Jan. 9. Send a check payable to OCA, P.O.
