Aimee Rice v Michael Fugate

Community Bible Church was the setting when Aimee Rice and Michael Fugate exchanged wedding vows at a 5 p.m. ceremony July 20. The Rev. Rod Doran officiated, and a reception followed at Avion on the Water, Canfield.

Rick and Debby Rice of North Benton are the parents of the bride, and Jeff and Jan Fugate of Beloit are the parents of the groom. The bride’s twin sister, Karly Rice, was her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Evelyn Woods; Ashley Davis; Kasie Simpson, a sister of the bride; and Emily McCowan. The flower girl was Emmelyn Schule, a niece of the bride. Her attendants wore coral and royal purple-colored gowns.

Performing the duties of best man was Jason Fugate, a brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Andy Hippley, Adam Martig, Ben Heverly and Nathan Diehl. Ringbearers were Elann and Eliot Simpson, nephews of the bride.

After receiving a degree in occupational therapy from Stark State College of Technology, the bride is employed as a certified occupational therapy assistant for Blue Sky Therapy in Canfield. The groom attended Kent State University Extension in Salem and is a landscaper for Kane Lawn Care of Canfield. After a wedding trip to Jamaica, they reside in Boardman.
