Gospel Jubilee set for New Year’s Eve

National artist Jerry Garcia from Adrian, Mich., the Stillwater trio from Cambridge, Ohio, and award-winning country gospel singer Bill Sanders from Ypsilanti, Mich., will join the Golden Street Singers from Farmdale, Ohio, for the final concert of the season.

Police pursuit ends in woman’s arrest

WARREN

Jessica Brom, 22, of Duke Street Southeast and Ellsworth Bailey Road in Lordstown, was charged with multiple offenses, including leaving the scene of an accident and reckless operation after a chase early Sunday after a car crash.

Police said Brom purposely crashed a vehicle multiple times into a vehicle in the parking lot of Coleman Behavioral Health, 552 N. Park Ave., at 3:41 a.m., then led police on a pursuit that ended on Warren Boulevard near Logan Avenue Southeast.

She was taken to the Trumbull County jail pending a court appearance Wednesday.

Aggravated robbery reported in Warren

Jevonte Mallory, 18, of Lodwick Drive Northwest, was charged with aggravated robbery at 9:40 p.m. Sunday after a 39-year-old Ogden Avenue Northwest man reported being robbed at gunpoint 10 minutes earlier.

The victim said three unidentified black males smashed out all of the windows of his vehicle with a handgun and forced him out of the car.

Police also charged a juvenile male in connection with the robbery and took him to the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center.

Burglary in Warren

Floyd Prusky, 22, of Front Street Southwest, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. Saturday at a house on Austin Avenue Southwest after a Warren man reported a burglary at the Austin address, saying someone had broke in by breaking a front window.

Holiday decorations damaged in Warren

A resident of the 1500 block of Woodbine Avenue Southeast reported at 5:42 a.m. Saturday that more than $1,500 worth of Christmas yard decorations were damaged.

Woman reports burglary in Warren

Richard Ware, 25, of North Leavitt Road Northwest, was charged with aggravated burglary and criminal damaging Friday afternoon on Lane Drive Southwest in connection with an incident at an apartment on Lane Drive Friday afternoon.

A 19-year-old female resident of the 300 block of Lane Drive reported that Ware damaged several items in her apartment, left, then returned and forced his way in and took cash at 2:45 p.m.

Attempted break-in

A 53-year-old woman living in the 400 block of Tod Avenue Southwest reported that a male attempted to break into her home at 4:51 p.m. Friday but ran away when he realized the woman was home. The door handle was damaged in the incident.
