Eva Rae Sanchez and Lt. Col. Thomas Eugene Hoskins were married May 26 at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The couple exchanged vows in the Anne Kilcawley Christman Memorial Hall during a 2 p.m. ceremony performed by the groom’s father and were honored afterward during a reception in the auditorium ballroom.
Parents of the bride are Reinaldo and Wildemina (Ocasio) Sanchez of Boardman. Jack and Erlinda Hoskins of Moline, Ill., are the parents of the groom.
The bride wore a modified A-line gown of Duchess silk satin trimmed with Chantilly lace hand-beaded with crystals on the natural bodice and hemline. A grosgrain belt of Swarovski crystals accented the natural waist, and the gown extended to a cathedral train adorned with covered buttons. A mantilla-style veil completed the ensemble.
Amber Rae Sanchez Krowinski, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jo-Lein Ocasio Quarles, cousin of the bride; Tara Copas; Jackie Hoskins, sister of the groom; and Emily Hoskins, daughter of the groom. Bellamina Rae Krowinski, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Attendants wore gray gowns.
Steven Hoskins, brother of the groom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Dan Hoskins, brother of the groom; Kristian Cederoth; and Capt. Jussus D.R. Sanchez, brother of the bride. Mariusz Howard Krowinski, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer, and Dustin Corse, cousin of the bride, was an usher.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from U.S. Air Force Academy and a master’s degree in business administration from the Post Naval Graduate School, Monterey, Calif. She is civilian flight chief for the 773rd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
The groom received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Virginia Military Institute and a master’s degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Dayton, Ohio. He is a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force and is commander of the 802nd Contracting Squadron for Joint Base San Antonio at Lackland Air Force Base.
The couple are planning a wedding trip at a later date. They reside in San Antonio.
