Mr. and Mrs. James W. Butler Sr.
LAKE MILTON
James W. Sr. and Patricia A. Butler of Lake Milton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends during a dinner Aug. 11 at Roby Lee’s Restaurant in Newton Falls.
Mr. Butler and the former Patricia A. Casey exchanged vows Aug. 11, 1962, at Muskinghum College Chapel in New Concord, Ohio.
Their children are Charlotte L. Cervone of Girard, Susan Rossi of Warren, James W. (Michele) Butler Jr. of Lake Milton and Todd J. (Sunshine) Butler of Berlin Center.
Completing their family are seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A son, Robert J. Butler I, is deceased.
Mrs. Butler taught for 34 years at Niles McKinley and Newton Falls high schools and was the Class of 1963 sponsor at Niles McKinley.
Mr. Butler retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 396.
Since retirement, the couple spend part of their time in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., where they are activity directors for their condo complex.
