Evergreen Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7668 Glenwood Ave., will celebrate Earth Day 2012 by hosting The Great American Meatout from 2 to 4:30 p.m. April 29. There will be a vegan meal, door prizes, free blood-pressure screening and daycare.
Gayle Alli, a cancer victim, will discuss the treatment that she used to make her cancer free.
