ELLSWORTH
Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley is expanding its Mobile Pantry Program to the township.
The first distribution will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Ellsworth Township Fire Department, 6036 South Salem-Warren Road. The mobile pantry will be in operation thereafter on the first Monday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon at the same site.
The program is designed to deliver food to Mahoning County residents living in underserved areas or without access to a food-bank member agency.
With funding from the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, the food bank also is operating mobile programs in Lake Milton and Goshen Township.
