Mom: Pa. toddler dropped from window back home

NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. (AP) — The mother of a western Pennsylvania toddler allegedly dropped from a third-story apartment window says her baby is home from the hospital.

The Beaver County Times today says Alizae Mosconi, of Rochester, returned home last week. The newspaper says the girl’s mother, Elizabeth Newman, confirmed that in an email on Monday.

Twenty-seven-year-old Terra Jean Hill, of East Liverpool, Ohio, is jailed awaiting trial on aggravated assault and other charges for allegedly dropping the child after first dangling the 23-month-old out the window to “teach her a lesson” for throwing a ball at Hill’s face.

The little girl is recovering from a skull fracture, surgery to put her left elbow back into place, and two broken arms.

Newman tells the newspaper her daughter needs physical therapy but is doing well under the circumstances.
