The Youngstown State football team is off to a tremendous start in Saturday's game against Western Illinois, taking a 28-0 lead after one quarter in the Missouri Valley Football Conference game at Stambaugh Stadium.
Kurt Hess hooked up with Christian Bryan for a 70-yard touchdown on the game's first offensive play and Jelani Berassa for a 69-yard touchdown on the quarter's final play. Hess and Jamaine Cook also rans for touchdowns.
