Veterans group schedules concealed carry class

United Veterans of America, Ohio Post 7, 717 Belmont Ave., will sponsor a National Rifle Association basic pistol class, which meets the requirement to apply for a concealed carry permit, next month.
Sessions are scheduled for 6 p.m. Nov. 16 and 17. The class will be completed at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 or 10 a.m. Nov. 19, depending on participation and student availability. Three NRA-trained instructors will teach the sessions; there will be 10 hours of class time and two hours of range time.
All materials, ammunition and use of target handguns for qualifying will be supplied at a cost of $87.50 per student or $160 per couple. Sixteen slots are available; seating is limited.
