A juvenile was transported to a local hospital with a broken leg after being struck by a car on the city’s South Side Tuesday afternoon.
The young girl was hit by a vehicle on the corner of Market Street and Avondale Avenue shortly after 3 p.m.
She remained on the ground until an ambulance arrived, but police say her injuries are not life-threatening.
No information was available Tuesday night about whether the driver was cited.
