About 100 fracking protestors are standing outside the First National Tower downtown calling for a moratorium on fracking. The protestors also marched around the Covelli Centre, the site of today's Youngstown Ohio Utica and Natural Gas conference and expo.
About 100 fracking protestors are standing outside the First National Tower downtown.
Protestors want a moratorium on fracking, a process in which water, chemicals and sand are blasted into rocks thousands of feet below the ground to unlock natural oil and gas.
The protestors also marched around the Covelli Centre, site of today's Utica Shale conference.
There are also unconfirmed reports that another set of protestors is attempting to blockade a D&L injection well site in Youngstown.
