Stambaugh concert
The Henry H. Stambaugh Youth Concert Band will present its annual winter concert at 7:30 p.m. today at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Admission is $3 ($1 for students). The concert features the music of Edwin Franko Goldman, Frank Ticheli, Murray Houllif, Ralph Vaughn Williams and “Russian Christmas Music” by Alfred Reed.
Teens and loss
Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes will sponsor a program for children age 6 to 14 dealing with the loss of a loved one. The program will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road, Youngstown. Participants will create an ornament in memory of their loved one, share stories, decorate cookies, sing Christmas carols and more.Call 330-792-2353 to RSVP by Wednesday.
Agent Orange seminar
Vietnam veterans are invited to an Agent Orange seminar from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Lawrence County commissioners’ meeting room at the courthouse, New Castle, Pa., said Shirley Noga, director of Lawrence County Veteran Affairs.
