Mooney High graduate Kyle McCarthy was added to the Denver Broncos’ active roster on Monday.
McCarthy, a safety who played eight games for the Broncos last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury, had been on the practice squad all season.
He will help replace cornerback Cassius Vaughn, who was placed on injured reserve with a broken fibula.
